VITAMIN C
Vitamin C is essential for healthy blood vessels, bones and teeth. Vitamin C also helps to form collogen, a protein that holds tissues to gether.
Deficiency of vitamin C causes scurvy. People who lack this vitamin may have sore gums and suffer bleeding under the skin.
Good sourced of vitamin C include citrus fruits (lemons, oranges, etc.). raw cabbage, strawberries, tomatoes, pototoes, etc. The body stores little vitamin C, and so this vitamin must be supplied daily in the diet.
