The work
These therapists use various methods, including therapeutic exercise, massage, hydrotherapy, and manipulations, to help their patients. Equipment like ultrasonic and microwave machines, infrared and ultraviolet lamps, and laser equipment are also used in therapy.
Physiotherapists are involved in all aspects of patient care. They design treatment programmes, and assess the patient's physical abilities and progress. They also teach and motivate patients to use crutches, prostheses and wheelchairs to perform day-to-day activities and demonstrate exercises to be done at home.
another role of the physiotherapist is keeping people well and safe from injury.
they teach people the importance of fitness and show them how to avoid hurting their bodies at work or play. They maintain statistical and clinical records, confer with other health care professionals, and often develop and implement health promotion programmes.
Physical therapy is a demanding profession. It is also extremelu rewarding for those who can finely and expertly balance the art of cating and the science of solving the complex medical puzzles we call humans.
