Problem with assisted deliveries
1.There may be a reddened area or small bruises on the face, which normally fades in a few days.
2.In some cases the scars due to instrument injury can be permanent on the forehead or eye.
3.In rare cases,there may be temporary damage to the baby's facial nerves.
4.some babies have a cone-shaped head.
5.There may be a blood blister on the scalp. This may take 6-8 weeks to heal.
6.In some, there is a blood clot on the head which leads to complications including growth disorders.
