Shazahn Padamsee - STUNNER

She isn't Kanimozhi

           In the recently-released Aval Peyar Tamilarasi, the character name of the protagonist was Tamilarasi. And in Saroja, Vega was christened Saroja. Similarly, in Chandramukhi, the alter ego of Ganga was called Chandramukhi. Even in Anjali, Baby Shamili, who played the lead in the film, was called Anjali.

          Now, it's but natural that we assume Shazahn Padamsee, who plays the female lead in Kanimozhi opposite Jai, be called so in the film. But no! The director of the film, Sripathy Rangasamy, tells us Shazahn's name in Kanimozhi is not Kanimozhi. 

        Though he refuses to divulge details on Shazahn's charcter or her name in the movie, he just tells us, "She plays a college girl in the film, which is a love story based on a philosophy." Well, we wonder what's so secretive in a love story.
