Singer-actress Mariah Carey is in talks to turn her life into a new stage musical. The superstar, who in the past decade went thro9ugh her fair share of ups and downs, recently turned 40 and seems to be loving life with her husband of two years Nick Cannon. In addition, her acting in the superhit Precious has come in for much praise. It's no wonder then, that the star is excited about the move to turn her life into a musical. She, however, is unsure about appearing in the project and wants Brit Leona Lewis to play her on stage, according to reports. "Mariah secretly likes the idea of Leona Lewis playing her. Not only is she exotic, she's the only one who they reckon would be able to tackle Mariah's eight-octave vocal range, " a source said.
