PANCREATIC CANCER
British researchers claim to have developed a new urine test that ca identify symptoms of pancreatic cancer within two hours. Scientists have developed the test that works by detecting raised levels of a specific protein - known as tumor marker - in the urine of patients with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. The test may increase patients' chances of survival after five years by 30% Daily Mail reported. Presently, a test for pancreatic cancer takes around 36 to 48 hours and it is also hard to detect the disease in primary stage.
