Hunt for Jessica

 Rajkumar Gupta is in a fix. The filmmaker is unable to convince a star to play Jessica lal, as Vidya Balan and Rani Mukherji have landed the meaty roles in No One Killed Jessica.

The original plan of casting big star in the central role of Jessica Lal, the assassinated model from Delhi, in the film has fallen through.

With Vidya playing Jessica's sister Sabrina Lal and Rani cst as an investigative journalist, the chances of finding an established female actor to play the relatively smaller part of Jessica has faded, for lack of choice, the director has decided to cast a complete newcomer as Jessica.

"We feel the impact of the crimeon the audience's kind would be far greater if the actress playing Jessica is an unknown face," says the director.
