MAKING A POINT: Catherine Zeta-Jones
Friday, August 6, 2010
Playing mommy Catherine Zeta-Jones seems to have accepted the fact that she will be playing 'mummy roles' in most of her future projects. The actress, who turned 40 last year, says older actresses can still get good roles if they are willing to compromise. Many Hollywood stars complain that the movie industry is obsessed with youth. But Zeta-Jones doesn't agree. "I'm going to play more mums than sex symbols. I'm going after the juicy roles and I intend to prove older women have just as much strength in Hollywood as young women and men," she says. |
