ALL SMILES: Dhansikaa

THIRD TIME LUCKY        Actress Dhansikaa has hit the jackpot. The talented actress after wowing the audience with her performance in Peranmai and  Maanja Velu,has now signed a project with none other than director Vasanthabalan.          Dhansikaa will play the lead opposite Aadhi (of Mirugam and Eeram fame in the movie, titled Aravan. the film is being produced by Siva and also has a Malayalam actress Archana Kavi (of Neelathamara fame) in an important role. The music will be scored by singer Karthik, who will make his debut as a music director with this film.         A source close to Vasanthabalan says, "I Aravan, set in the mid 18th century,is the story of an ordinary man with an extraordinary talent."        Vasanthabalan, who's famous for making realistic films like Veyil and Angadi Theru,  wioll be testing new waters this time with a period film.         Meanwhile, Dhansikaa, whose last two films set the cash registers ringing, is keeping her fingers crossed and praying her third film workd wonders at the BO too. And given the combination, we are sure she has reasons to smile!
