Nikhil Dwivedi - TRAINING HARD

   Nikhil's a
Marathi
manoos

If you start seeing Nikhil Dwivedi conversing in fluent Marathi with traffic havaldars or any other Maharashtrian, don't be surprised. The young actor is learning shudh Marathi to get under the skin of the character for his upcoming film Arjun.
Even, though Nikhil can speak Marathi, he wanted to get the pronunciations correct, for which he sought help from theatre actor Rahul Awate.
Arjun, which is considered to be a cult classic in Bollywood, showcased Sunny Deol as the crusader for the issues that the youth want to revolt against. The movie will now have Nikhil in Sunny's role. A source tells us that though the concept and ethos of the film will be retained, the issues and treatment will reflect the current times.
Says Nikhil, "The premise of the movie is similar, but the story is completely different because the problems that the youth faced then aren't relevant anymore."
Besides Arjun, Nikhil will also be seen playing a key part in Mani Ratnam's forthcoming film, Raavan.
