Top-notch mentors including Marc Robinson, Shiamak Davar and Anupam Kher will give the Pataloons Femina Miss India 2010 contestants a polished touch

As the countdown begins to the Pantaloons Femina Miss India (PFMI) 2010 contest, the 18 shortlisted beauties are getting ready to battle it out for the crown. Each one , talented and good-Looking in her own right, will be given the expert touch by three renowned mentors. While Marc Robinson ( contestant director and fashion director, PFMI 2010) is responsible for their grooming process and finishing touches,Anupam Kher (acting mentor) will help bring out the hidden talents in the girls as Shiamak Davar (Grur of modern contemporary dance in India) will get them dancing fit. Commenting on the PFMI platform, Shiamak said, "This pageant has given Indian cinema some of the most brilliant actresses. Right from Juhi Chawla to Aishwarya Rai, Priyaka Chopra, Lara Dutta and Dia Mirza. I feel it is a great initiative by the PFMI team to get on board two of the most reputed filmmakers -- Vipul Amrutial Shah and Madhur Bhandarkar. It is innovative efforts like these that make the contest a class apart." That's right. From among the lucky finalists, two girls will be chosen by Madhur and Vipul for an upcoming film. While Shinamak will help the girl get into the right groove, film star wart Anupam Kher will train them through his 'Actor Prepares' academy. "I intend to rectify the drawbacks in the girls and help in polishing the actor hidden within. Since many PFMI winners pursue a career in Bollywood, honing acting skills, having adequate knowledge about direction, camera presence and emoting as per the script can give them an edge, " adds Anupam. The PFMI contest provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the girls as they'll be trained by the best in the industry, feels Marc Robinson. "This platform opens up so many avenues for the contestants right from modeling to television and films.
