'YOU'RE OKAY WITH MY
JOKES ?'
...that's what Akshay Kumar
asked his co-star Anyshka
Anushka Sharma seems to have fond memories of shooting with Shah Rukh Khan for Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.
Recalls she, "He never let me feel out age difference, didn't treat me like the 19-year-old that I was. I won't even call my second co-star Shahid a friend. Shahid and I( share a great working relationship....In fact, I don't have any friends in the industry. How do I meet the people in the industry after working hours? I don't even party. I'd much rather be with my close friends and family."
Anushka's mother stays with her in Mumbai. At the moment, her father, who is the army and posted near Baroda, and her brother, who's in the navy, have also joined her in Mumbai, "I couldn't ask for more.I barely landed in Mumbai from the US after doing Parmeet's film and I'm ready to shoot for Patiala House. There's no breathing space."
For the first time in her career, Anushka Sharma plays a girl close to her heart.
"In Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, I was so quiet that people used to wonder if that was the real me. When Nikhil Advani met me, he was surprised at how much I spoke, He was relieved. Because the girl I play in his film Patiala House speaks non-stop."
When Anushka met her co-star Akshay Kumar, she couldn't stop talking."Akshay struck me as being very simple and down to earth. He dept cracking these jokes and then turned to me to ask, "You're okay with my jokes?' Of course, I was okay."
