VIJAY IS NOT REPLACING SIMBU

Here's the latest on Ilayathalapathy Vijay, While recent reports have stated that Vijay is to replace Simbu in Lingusamy's next, the actor himself has denied the same to CT. A source close to Vijay says, "It's true that about six months ago, Vijay agreed to do a film with lingusamy when the right script comes his way. But, there's no way he is going to step into a film, which was originally written keeping in mind the image of another actor," The sourecealso added that though Vijay is busy with Kaval Kadhal and Velayudham, he would not compromise on his 'superstar status' by doing too many films at a time.
Meanwhile, director Lingusamy has confirmed that Simbu will not be a part of his film. When CT contacted Lingusamy, he said. "The talks are still on and I will confirm the cast in a couple of days."
Apparently, Lingusamy and producer Dhayanidhi Alagiri were miffed that Simbu had started the shoot of his new film Vaanam without even informing them! Earlier, Simbu had promised to start his film with Lingusamy as soon as he completed the first schedule of Poda Podi in London in August.
looks like his decision to start Vaanam has caused him a lot of trouble.
