          Whoever said you can't have friends in the industry needs to do a rethink. Two well-known faces from tinseltown will soon come together for a venture owing to their dosti.

           Divya Spandana and Dhanush, who were last seen in the superhit Polladhavan, will team up once again.

            This time though, it won't be a comercial release, but a short film. Dhanush, following in dad Kasthuri Raja's and brother selvaraghavan's footsteps, will be at the helm of this project. The actor, who has been hinting at turning director for a while now, has, in most of his recent interviews, expressed a desire to direct.

            While Divya, who's currently in the city shooting for Kadhal to Kalyanam, remained tight-lipped about the project, her status line on a social networking site said it all.

            "Doing a short film for my friend Dhanush. He is an amazingly talented guy; a great actor and soon-to-be-director"

            What remains to be seen is if wife Aishwarya, who's also inclined towards film making and has previously assisted brother-in-law Selva, will also be a part of the film.
