       It is confirmed that Tamil film star Ranitha, who allegedly filmed in a compromising position with Swami Nityanand, is playing a role in the Tamil version of the bilingual Raavan.

        After the controversy hit national headlines, Ranjitha went under ground and a shocked Mani Rarnam was for a moment faced with the dilemma of re shooting her potions with another actress or going ahead with Rankitha. Eventually, he opted for the latter.
