Batting for
films
Tilakaratne Dilshan, the Lankan batsman who is in the country to play in the IPL, had said a few months ago that he was in the middle of writing a film script. Now, when asked again about the progress he'd made, he said excitedly, "I am relieved now as I am done with the script. "
Dilshan has devoted two years to writing the script. "It's very different from the conventional ones. I have added a twist to it by putting in love and loads of thrill and drama. " However, Dilshan's not sure about when he will begin the film making. Though it's going to be a Lankan movie, Dilshan plans to market his script in India too. He shares a close bond with India as he married his wife Manjula, who is an actor, in Delhi. "The lead cast is yet to be decided, " he said.
The movie is untitled, and might have Indian actors too, "I am thinking about the cast -- I want to have some one like Hrithik Roshan in it. I am eagerly awaiting the release of Kites. I feel that it will be a very different movie, " he said.
