       A furious Jessica Simpson has refused to accept an aplogy from ex-boyfriend John mayer over comments he made about her sex skills

      In the March issue of a magazine, John likened sex with former girlfriend Jessica to a drug.he had said then, "Drugs aren't good for you if you do lots of them. Yeah, that girl is like crack cocaine to me.Sex like napalm,sexual napalm." Jessica started an off-and-on relationship with the musician following her divorce in 2006.

          After the interview,Jessica Simpson's father reportedly blasted John Mayer in a furious phone call.A source said, "Joe took it upon himself to call John updirectly for a man-to-man discussion. "

          Meanwhile, Jessica -- appearing on Oprah Winfrey's show -- reveales she hadn't even read the controversial article.

          "I couldn't read the article. I heard about it. I was so disappointed. It made me so sad and it was really discouraging because that's not the John that I knew, " a website quoted Simpson as saying.

         The pop star admits Mayer sent her a personal apology. "I haven't written back. I don't accept it. I don't resent him. I'm just gonna let it go, " the singer added.

            On a lighter note, Jessica says that her phone's been ringing off the hook post John's remarks, and that "I guess it could be worse. " She added that she hoped John "gets his life together."
