Shruti Haasan is surprised, and here's why.... 

            In her own words, it's one of the most exciting times of her career. She's even shifting base to Mumbai shortly, which is why she's in and out of hazaar meetings. and now, we hear that actress-composer Shruti Haasan will add a new kimension to her career by lending her voice to the Puneet Rajkumar Kannada film prithvi, "Really? This is news to me. Thanks for telling me, " laughs a surprised Shruti.

          The trade circuit tooo is abuzz with the bnews that she's all set to be part of Prithve and will be on board the project soon, "I'm not aware of this. Enquiries must have come in and they may be following up with my team. "I'm travelling a lot these days, so I've no clue about it. I haven't confirmed anythink, " she tells us.But shruti doesn't rule out the possibility of her doing the project if she's officially approached for it. "If it's exciting, then why not? I'd love to do a Kannada film, " she says.

            Singing certainly isn't new to Shruti, who composed music recently for her dad's Unnaipol Oruvan, "I have worked on a number in Hey Ram with dad earlier, and enjoyed doing it, "says the singer-actress.

• why are you such a hot and saleable property whin it comes to endorsements?

Maybe because i take commercials to another level. I could never just stand in front of a camera and say, "Buy this, hmmm, it tastes good." And clients see this dedication, this quality in me, and that's what convinces them to make me their brand ambassador.But I am only in demand for as long as my films are.This can be a very short lived life if one isn't storming the box office every Friday. It's the same with crickertes, models, any famous face, if you start to suck at your job you can wave bye-bye to your endorsements.

AREENA APOOR - HELP IS HERE !

         Kareena thinks of Saif Ali Khan's family as her own. Apparently, she has great regard for Saif's sister Soha Ali Khan and her beau Kunal Khemu. A case in point is Kareena strongly recommending Kunal to Golmaal 3 director Rohit Shetty. she convinced Shetty to include him as an integral part of the Golmaal series.

           Recently, Kareena told Shetty that Kunal would be an asset to his forthcoming film, in which she stars as well. Says a source, "Recently Saif, Kareena, Soha and Kunal met for dinner. Kareena and Kunal had an intense conversation about his forthcoming projects. She thinks he is a very talented actor and is just making the wrong choices with his movies. she mentioned the same to him and discussed Glmall 3 with him. "

           It's thoughtful gesture on Kareena's part to help out Soha's boyfriend. The source adds, "Golmaal director Tohit was nunting for the star cast and Kareena was aware of that. "We hear she had a word with Rohit, who was convined by Kareena's reasoning. The director immediately decided that Kunal should be sharing the screen space with Kareena , Ajay Devgn, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Arshad Warsi and Mithun Chakraborty.

       Kareena and Kunal both remained unavailable for comment. However, director Rohit Shetty denied the story.
